I would have liked the option of purchaing just the AC cable for less money, but I was happy that I found this on AMAZON for less than the asking price on the Garmin website. Works great!!! A must for anyone who has a Garmin portable GPS device. It is nice now having to take it to my computer to charge. Now i can plug it in anywhere..even when on the road at a hotel. I received the power cable just in time for vacation. The orginal order was lost by the US postal service, I called customer service and a replacement was sent by UPS next day. Since I use the navigation unit when walking, charging was a major problem. But not anymore with the cable system.Customer Review: Not only a charger!

Unlike USB cable that allows the GPS to charge only, this adapter allows using it at the time when the device is charging. In my household the nuvi 750 GPS doubles up as MP3 player when we are not driving and I thought it was silly that Garmin did not include an adapter as a standard item.
