If you do not have the "Wide" 4.3" Nuvi, do not buy this item. For some reason Amazon has been recommending the wrong case to some people when they purchase a Garmin GPS. Again, this item is for the 4.3" screen size. To be sure, check with Garmin before you purchase the wrong case.
As for the case itself, it does a good job of protecting the screen. It will not hold a power cord or any other Garmin accessories other than maybe a SD card. The case is not completely enclosed and it is possible for your GPS to slide out of the case depending on how you store it.

It is what it is a fake leather case with reinforced areas to protect your screen. Mission accomplished. It accomplishes the job well but dont expect to be impressed or blown away by the quality of the product.
Update. Im a little dissapointed that as this product got broken in my nav system almost got broken. Ok bad english there but as the case relaxes it doesnt hold the nav system snugly and when picking up my nav system (in the case) it slid out of the case and hit the ground. This pretty much defeats the purpose of having a case and needs a strap on top or something.

Like all Original Equipment Manufactured (OEM) products, it will be more expensive than those made by other companies. But this is a relatively inexpensive item at a MSRP of $18.00, and it's even better at $13.00! If your GPS does not come with a case, make the investment to protect your $300-$400 GPS and buy one. It doesn't have to be OEM, just one that fits properly and is made of a durable material (leather does not rip easily). This case has no special padding for added protection to absorb shock, so it's no different from after market products. I'm very happy with this purchase.Customer Review: Nice sleeve

Very nice case (actually really a sleeve) that fits neatly around my Garmin Nuvi 650 and protects the unit and especially the screen. I use it all the time whenever I take my Garmin out of the car, and with this case feel comfortable just putting it in my coat pocket. Has a nice, soft leatery feel. And because it is a sleeve, the SD card slot on the side is exposed so you can easily remove the card (such as to add more MP3s) while keeping the Garmin protected. I got this for my Garmin nüvi 760 4.3-Inch Widescreen Bluetooth Portable GPS Automobile Navigator This isn't a fancy or overly pricey carrying case, but it's good, solid and gets the job done. I like that it's not too bulky and doesn't add extra weight to the GPS device. I basically wanted something that I could throw into a briefcase or jacket pocket when not using the device and it works great for that. It might have been nice to have someplace to put the cables, but then that would have greatly increased the size. This works just fine and the price is reasonable.
