this carrying case does its job dosnt matter what is it made out of it protects your Gps system nice and hard on the out side, in the in side its soft and protects the screen for any damages that might happen. i tried to shake out my GPS but it the case has a nice grip onto it so it cant fall out to easy but the grip isnt to strong so u dont have to use all your power to pull it out lol. thats why i like this case it does its job to protect my GPS. the GPS i have is the 250W it fits just fine as the 600s do.Customer Review: Same Case That came with the Garmin

My Garmin Nuvi 660 came with a case so I have not used this one yet. The cases are the same though and original works fine. The extra case will come in handy in the future.
The one con I see with the case is that the Nuvi 660 fits in really tight. If the end with the power button is at the opening of the case, I have a tendancy to accidentally turn the Nuvi on when removing it from the case or putting the Nuvi away. I just have to remember to put the Nuvi away power button end first.

Upon first inspection, I was ready to send the case back and complain that the wrong one was sent. The case appeared to be much to small. I held my Garmin 650 in one hand and the case in the other and thought "Well let's give it a shot". After a bit of pushing and hoping that the case seams held, the GPS was in fact inside the case. After about 24 hours the case stretched and conformed to the 650 just fine. The case is well made, is hard sided both front and back and affords excellent protection.Customer Review: Not compatable with Nuvi 855

I ordered this product for use with my Nuvi 855, however this model hardly fits inside. Putting the GPS in isn't nearly as complicated as taking it out. The sides have little give so if your GPS is large enough for a snug, secure fit, it will likely be too large to easily remove. I have stretched mine out as much as possible to make it useable, but it is still a bit of a challenge to remove and I managed to accidentally tear a thread or two, so I'm not expecting this case to last me very long.Customer Review: Not a Garmin quality

As stated in the headline, this item is below Garmin quality. I've received one as part of the 660 bundle, and after using it for a couple of months, the screen cracked because of the not-so-strong pressure in my gloves compartment, even though the device was in the case. Therefore, this cheap plastic couldn't protect my screen. Since my kids lost the case, I've bought the new one which is a little bit smaller, so it's not so easy to fit 660 in. Would by a hard case if I'd known there is one.
