This case was separately sent from Ritz camera. The problem was they sent the wrong case. The item they sent was 010-10723-02 which was too small to fit the Garmin I bought. When I contacted them they said I would be credited my money back but couldn't return the item. So I still don't have the Garmin 010-10823-01 I ordered; so have to go find it somewhere else and throw this one they sent away. I would of preferred to send it back in exchange for the one I really ordered. Not sure I'll order from Amazon again. CarolCustomer Review: Must have accesory

IMO this item is definitely a must have item if you use your GPS in multiple vehicles like I do. Considering the price point of the typical Garmin device this little pouch should be included with the original purchase. I guess it's just another way for them to eek a few more dollars out of the consumer. And it is really just a pouch, nothing fancy, but it does the job fine enough. I would like to see other options, such as a larger, actual case, that would fit the power cord and one of the friction dash mounts, as well.Customer Review: A waste of money

Garmin does not include a carrying case in the sale of its GPS units. In an effort to prevent damage, particularly screen scratches, to the unit, a carrying case seems a reasonable idea. However, this one is nothing fancy - it doesn't seem to be leather but is solid vinyl - although it does fit the unit. If you want to protect your screen, you might consider this, although it is just another effort by Garmin to nickle-and-dime you with accessories that should be included in the purchase price of the GPS unit.Customer Review: Garmin 4.3" Carrying Case

Although I don't store my Garmin unit in my glove box very often, it's nice to know that the unit is comfortably contained and secured inside the Garmin 4.3" carrying case. Similar to protecting a cellphone from damage, this particular carrying case provides that same type of protection. The Garmin fits securely inside the pocket of the case and is easily inserted and removed when necessary. The Garmin 4.3 inch carrying case is really a top quality product. I was worried that is was a cheap made, but when it arrived I was surprised to see a well made little case. I like the case overall, although I wish I purchased a zipper closure case. You see I carry my GPS around for travel and take it in and out of my brief case. With one end open, I am concerned that my GPS unit will get scratched. However, for someone who just wants to protection from the car to their house this product is really nice.
