Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Garmin 4.3-Inch Carrying CaseCustomer Review: Good quality carrying case Summary: 4 Stars
I am for the most part pleased with this Garmin carrying case for my 760. However, I was expecting one with a little more padding. It seems Garmin recommends this same case for a multitude of models and for some there is a problem with the fit being either too loose or too snug. I even checked out Garmin.com to verify that this was the correct case and it was but they did not mention the 760 in the description of it.
In conclusion, I believe Garmin should come up with more models of cases instead of trying to use the "one case fits almost all models" mentality.
Customer Review: Item never received, eventually credit given Summary: 1 Stars
Item not received due ONLY to UPS shipping. UPS would not accept my PO Box as my shipping address so I gave them my street address. Then UPS took the package to the US Post Office, as part of their reciprocal shipping arrangement, and the US Post Office could not deliver it to me at the street address because I don't have a mailbox, only a PO Box. The US Post Office doesn't personally know me and know that I have a PO Box. Therefore, the item was returned to the shipper. I WAS given full credit for my purchase, including shipping, approximately 30 days after purchase.
Customer Review: Garmin Leather Case Summary: 4 Stars
Item is basically as described and provides a good, slim, protective sleeve for the Nuvi 255w as it sits in the glove compartment or brief case.
It does not offer protection from hard impact or pressure on the screen and doesn't have storage space for a power cord, windshield mount, etc - but that is not what it is designed to do.
The only negative I have to mention is that the sleeve is so tight around the device that I accidentaly turned the GPS on sliding it into the case and drained the battery while it was sitting in the glove compartment.
Customer Review: garmin carry case Summary: 4 Stars
The carry case makes for a nice tight fit for the Garmin Nuvi 650. However, it does not enclose the entire Garmin unit. One of the edges of the garmin unit is exposed in the case, so it is not really a water proof case. The case does not protect the Garmin from cold temperatures which can permanently ruin the unit. You should never leave the Garmin in the car in freezing temperatures. But it does fit snug, and is lined with a soft material that does protect the unit. Over all I would say to buy the cary case. However, it is way over priced at around $28.00.
Customer Review: Glove Fit Leather Case Summary: 5 Stars
I have bought several of these cases along with lesser cases in the past few months. I tried them all and have decided that this is the best case for the job. It fits the Garmin Nuvi 780 like a glove very snugly and has a small pocket in the side for whatever you would like to slide in there. I put an SD card in there on one occasion and tickets to an event I was attending on another day. I am critical of flaws in products that I buy and give this item the best rating because it is. Your money is well spent here if this is an item that you are in need of. Robert
