I have been using the Garmin on my motorcycle for the last 2 years without issue. It has been through rain a few times over the 10,000+ that I have had it attached. I really like the route programming tool for the computer. It allows me to plan out my entire route before I leave to ensure I see new areas and stay in the country as much as I want. This gps does just what it promised - take me from point A to point B as swiftly as possible!
Easy to use, even with gloves, and all the extras you would need are there (hungry? it will show you where you can go eat! Sleepy? A hotel just around the corner!)
A definite 'must have' for people like me who have no clue about directions & driving in the USA...

Very well laid out. Ample amplification for sound. But would it be soooo difficult to offer a home plug-in charging accessory? Perhaps making it standard issue since the unit is shipped partially charged. And product description on my 450 failed to disclose it came with a in-line power wire for the unit to the bike. I purchased this product with the understanding that it was refurbished, but was as good as new. Well , the maps on it were out of date, never brought up to date when refurbished, so I then had to purchase updated maps which cost over $100.00 . So I you add cost of 450 Garmin plus cost of maps, I could have purchased NEW 550 Garmin same price.Customer Review: Garmin Zumo 450

I have used this unit on several trips and have worked with other GPS units. It seems to do a good job.
I'll add to the review after I mount it to the motorcycle.
Still learning but find it works well.
Bought the auto mount and power cable for it. The cable doesn't work without the auto mount. It doesn't connect to the Zumo.
