Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of GARMIN 010-10454-00 Handlebar Bike Mount (for GPSMAP 60 Series)Customer Review: Why is this so cheap? Summary: 1 Stars
I agree, this is a flimsy piece of plastic that will not hold the GPS unit over a few little bumps. I expected more from Garmin. Consider this: Touratech Mount for Garmin 60C series. Its a solid unit. It costs a little more but you won't be replacing your GPS unit due to it falling to the ground.
Customer Review: Works great! Summary: 5 Stars
I have used this for over two years and have not had a problem. I do run the lanyard of the unit through the handlbars and then place the GPS in the mount. This is just in case it comes loose which it never has. I bike paved and dirt roads and it works fine. I feel this unit works fine.
Customer Review: Garmin handlebar mount Summary: 5 Stars
Typical Garmin precision - once inserted, my GPS is locked in... it cannot fall out. I actually use mine in my canoes without worry, including when I portage the canoes, inverting the canoe over my head - the Garmin has never fallen out.
Great design
Customer Review: Exactly what I expected Summary: 5 Stars
This Mounting holds your GPS (Garmin 60 csx) in a profesional way on your bike, nice design, and very easy to install, just like an other accesorie, only loosing one screw open it and tighten again.
I Highly recomend it for bike trips
Customer Review: Works Great Summary: 5 Stars
I bought one to go on my mountain bike a couple of months ago and it works great.I have not had any problems taking it off as some reviews have said.I would recommend using the lanyard that comes with the gps and wrap it around the handlebars just in case though.
