Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of GARMIN 010-10454-00 Handlebar Bike Mount (for GPSMAP 60 Series)Customer Review: Good Product Summary: 4 Stars
I have purchased 3 of these mounts (one for Quad, Bike, and Stroller). Product has worked great, kept GPS in good view, Even recked the Quad and it didn't budge. Had to replace one because it cracked at the top and the sun melted (while in the car) and deformed it so the gps would no longer stay in the mount. So do not leave it in the car or other places that will get super hot, or you may be buying another one
Customer Review: Not strong enough for mountain biking Summary: 2 Stars
This unit is just not strong enough for mountain biking. I had a minor crash and the top of the mount snapped off and my Garmin fell on the ground scratching the plastic cover which covers the LCD. Garmin does not repair but charges 110 dollars to send you a refurbished unit. 110 dollars to replace a 15 cent plastic face plate. No Thanks. they also claim there is no engineering problem with this mount.
Customer Review: So Far So Good! Summary: 5 Stars
This product seems to get a lot of criticism for one fault or another, but seems to work well so far on my Giant Cypress hybrid bike. This mount will not fit a 1-1/4" Trek roadbike handlebar. You need to buy the larger mount but it does not come with a cradle, so you need to buy both mounts, but was ok for me since I have a hybrid and a Trek road bike, so I just switch cradles.

Customer Review: Nice holder Summary: 5 Stars
I was a bit skeptical when I bought this. I got if for my motorcycle and I was a bit worried if it would really hold my Garmin GPS secure. After receiving it, I realized I wouldn't have to worry at all. This thing holds the GPS unit very good. No need for a dummy cord or anything. If this is the reason you are holding off on this device, don't worry about it. Your GPS will be safe.
Customer Review: Works Great Summary: 5 Stars
This mount works great. I've ridden over railroad tracks and other rough terrain and my Garmin 60csx stays solidly in place. I do have the lanyard pulled over the handle bar just in case, but the GPS has never come loose. When it snaps in place it is held tightly. I don't understand why others are having to use rubber bands or anything else. I ride a lot and never a problem.
