**This docking station will not charge the latest iPod Nano released 9/2008**
I purchased this in white about a year ago to use in my cubicle at work. In a corporate office where I need to use low volumes the sound quality is good but when I use it at home on the weekends while doing chores I found that the sound at high volumes became a little strained and does not go up as high as I'd like it. The radio is ok if you're in a good area but every now and then I have to tweak the dial for better reception. The clock is in an odd curved spot on this docking station so if you look at it from certain angles it's impossible to see.
I have no complaints for the actual Ipod play such as moving from song to song and stopping and pausing, but I did find that the docking adapter for my iPod 3rd generation does not slide in the docking station so I had to play the iPod without it making the iPod rock back and forth whenever I used the menu features. It comes with several sized adapters to use with the many iPods that are out but I couldn't use any of them with the iPod I had when I purchased this.
All and all it's not a bad little player for the money and it will charge your iPod (Older versions only)when you use it. Unfortunately I just purchased the new iPod Genius and will need to buy another docking station that's compatible and charges my iPod.

After a school trip to the oregon coast, i saw a kid that had an "Ihome." I fell in love with it when i saw it, and it charged the ipod as it was playing. The sound was very good, so i thought i'd buy one of my own.
I did some research on the internet, and saw that this one had quite a few 5 stars, and was within my budget. (my mom would only let me spend $30)
I bought this for my bedroom, and for school trips. As soon as it arrived, i put my ipod in it. I was SO impressed by how cute it was, and how well the radio, sound, and clocked worked. I was worried the sound wasnt' going to be very loud, but its quite loud! And clear. The only thing that some music snobs may have a problem with, is that the bass isn't the best. But for the price, it can't be beat.
Another thing that impressed me is that it charged the ipod so quickly! it's just as good as plugging your ipod onto the computer and letting it charge.
I STRONGLY suggest this. It is an amazing product! I am so glad i bought it!

My daughter was turning eight and she wanted more than anything a cute pink docking station to charge her Nano as well as play music. I read mixed reviews on this product, but decided to go with it anyway. The docking station has several different adapters to fit most any Nano, shuffle, or Ipod (but I would still recommend checking the specs before buying to make sure it will fit the one you have). The nano fits in well and the sound quality is great for such little speakers. It is easy to work so I don't have to always run over to help her when she wants to listen to music. It also has a clock and a radio which are an added bonus. She really likes that you can put in batteries and carry it outside to dance and play with her friends. Of course the very best part is that it is pink and what girl doesn't love pink?! For the price, I couldn't expect more. We've only had the item for two months so the durability verdict is still out. I would like to give it a few months before I make any speculations on that factor.Customer Review: Great buy for a great product!

I bought this for my seven year old daughter to play her iPod in her room. I have to say, I wasn't expecting too much at this price, but I was so EXTREMELY pleased that I bought two more of them right away! The bass is incredible sounding out of a little boombox, radio gets great reception, it has the built in digital clock, and AC adapter which was the deal maker (no way am I buying batteries!) We have a $100 model (different brand) and this little thing is just as good! It comes with probably six different adapters for different iPods.....and I read that it doesn't hold the newest nano's.....but looks to me like it might. The plug that goes into the ipod actually slides back and forth to adapt to the different models. Anyway..... I LOVE this product for the money....free shipping.... can't beat it! Very happy with this little box. Even better, I only paid around $30 for it, so it was a great value. You do start to lose sound quality at high volumes, but I expected that. I do like that the volume control is an analog dial. I have another ipod dock at work with ditigal up and down volume buttons, and for my relatively quiet office environment, level 2 is too soft, and level 3 is too loud, and there is nothing in between. I don't have that problem with this unit.
My only minor complaint is that I have to take my nano out of it's case for it to fit in to the unit because the case has a belt clip, which is slightly inconvenient. Now, I just keep my full sized ipod in this dock so I don't have to deal with the nano case removal issue.
Overall, very happy with the product.
