Customer Review: A person who likes music
Summary: 4 Stars

I am a person who likes music and would like to be able to listen to it!The GPX DISCMAN works fine. I mean extremley well but the head phones are just horrible. All of a sudden while your listening to your favorite piece, the sound, the music will become all scrachy. In my second week with them they broke and now they don't fit on my head! I think that this discman is worth the money but deinetly not the head phones. If your going to bye this then bye a new set of headphones with it. I'd take this advice!

Customer Review: Mostly happy with this product
Summary: 4 Stars

I just purchased this portable cd player. I was very excited it came with a car kit, as I will use it primarily in my vehicle. I was very impressed with the sound quality the cd player has. My only complaint is that the 40 second anti shock isn't as good as it is advertised. If I hit a bump on the road or just with just walking it worked fine, however if I moved the cd player around alot while it was one, it skipped a lot.

Overall I really like the cd player and it was a good value.

Customer Review: A pretty good CD player
Summary: 4 Stars

I needed a CD player for my office and for car trips. This one fit the bill perfectly and it's *cheap*. Six months down the road, I'm still happy with it.

As other reviewers have pointed out, the headphones are not too sturdy, but they're fine for "normal" use. Maybe not if you're going to throw them in your backpack everyday though.

The anti-shock works well. I drive a Jeep that's always bounces around, and the CDs keep on going (but not when I get offroad).

Customer Review: MORE BANG FOR THE BUCK
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this CD player back in April, and I love it. It has slid off my dashboard in my car and slammed into the door, on many corners, and has never skipped. Its light weight looks pretty cool and comes with a ton of stuff. I've only used the headphones a couple times, and they are average, but if you want real good head phones you will have to buy them separate anyway. Its definately worth the money, especially if you want to use it in the car or running.

Customer Review: Can't beat the price
Summary: 4 Stars

A friends Daughter has this player. I tried it when we went camping. It player my Cdr's great. My friends new Ford expedition's cd player wouldn't. The anti skip was ok, not great, However, I was so impressed with the features and accessories that come with it I bought one for my daughter. It can't be beat. If your a real Music fanatic it probably isn't for you. For Children, Teenagers, or someone looking for an inexpensive player that will play cdr's this is the one.
