I enjoyed using my GPX while it lasted. It looks awesome, and it's so light and compact that I could just put it in my jacket pocket and listen to music where ever I went; then jump in the car and plug it in there, and I'm wired. The anti-skip function is the best I've seen. I haven't tried throwing it on the ground, like so many say they have, but it's worked well even upside-down bouncing around in my pocket. However, believe what everyone else says about the headphones. Very flimsy and the sound is subpar, but if you like the color and the price, you may overlook their shortcomings. Whether it's the car hook-up or what, it stopped working and I did't try it on headphones again before it turned into a CD player raisin in the back of my car. Oops. LIKE THE OTHERS THAT WROTE IN WITH A ONE STAR RATING. I BOUGHT THIS FOR A CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR MY DAUGHTER BY MARCH IT STOPPED WORKING THINKING IT WAS THE BATTERIES WE CHANGED THEM. NOTHING!!! I TRIED GOING BACK TO THE STORE BUT BECAUSE IT WAS A SPECIAL PROMOTION WHERE YOU SPEND A HUNDRED DOLLARS YOU GET A FREE BARBIE. THEY WOULD NOT GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK OR EVEN A CREDIT BUT THEY WOULD GIVE ME AN EVEN EXCHANGE. THE PROBLEM WITH THAT IS THEY ONLY CARRY THEM AT CHRISTMAS TIME. I HAVE TRIED LOOKING ON THE INTERNET FOR A WEB SITE, DIDN'T FIND A THING. THERE IS NO PHONE NUMBER TO BE FOUND OR EVEN A COMPLETE ADDRESS. SO I GUESS I'M STUCK WITH A LEMON.

I was looking to update my old CD player with something new to go running with and listen to music at work. This little player is lightweight for running, doesn't skip, and has nice bass. I found the headphones to be a little cumbersome with the volume control for exercise purposes, but that is probably because I am used to another set. I highly recommend this product. Also, Amazon sent it off in 24 hours and I got it the day after I ordered using standard shipping. Order the batteries (cheap anyway) so you can use it right out of the box. This product is great and really worth the money. It is more of a purple color rather than the ice blue in the picture, but I think it is still very good looking. This cd player is very decent for it's price and it works alright so far. I happened to be disappointed in it when I received it in the mail. There was so many features that bring down the quality of the cd playeritself. It doesn't make a good car cd player unless you go on very long trips. Everytime you turn off the car, the cd player turns of it's Electronic Shock Protection and you have to turn it on each time. Second it doesn't have a resume button, so you have to start your cd all over again. It lacks a place for a remote. It's just too much of a hassle. The only real good thing about it is maybe it has 40 sec esp. I wouldn't recommend that this a cd player as a thing to make a big deal about.Customer Review: IT'S NOT WHAT THE CD PLAYER LOOKS LIKE

i'm writing this review to tell you that if you're about to order this product because you think the cd player will look like the above picture, it's not. I ordered mine on Thursday of january 27th and received it today, Jan. 31st and the cd player is totally different! it's still the blue ice cd player by gpx but the model is a little different, it might be upgraded or whatever but that's not how it looks like in the pic, it still looks good but i really like the original pic better because that was the reason why i got it, i'm kind of disappointed that amazon.com did not inform us about this and shouldn't put these pictures up because that would be like false advertising in a way
