This phone is ok. Its great having the three receivers but the sound quality is awful. The best way to hear someone your talking to is to use the speaker phone option. It you leave it off the base overnight the battery will run out and it will have to be recharged, but with three receivers this is really not a problem. If you get really annoyed with poor sound quality, do not buy this phone. Using the speaker is not a problem for me, others might not find it so. For the price, getting the three phones including the answering system is a good deal but, if I had it to do over; I would not buy this phone.Customer Review: Nice sound quality, poor battery life--GE..generally exhausted

I have had this phone for one year. I bought it because of the lightness of the receiver, the sound quality and the GE name. Unfortunately, the battery life is quite poor. I had a Panasonic for two years and it took many days and a lot of usage before the low battery signal came on. Unfortunately, Panasonic's products are poorly made and die after less than two years. Maybe this is the planned obsolescence of all cordless phones. But, you will find after two or three months, that the battery charge lasts less than one day or will be used up after a fifty minute chat. Buyer Beware.Customer Review: My opinion

It was better than I expected! Having 3 phones and one base is the greatest idea ever! I keep the main phone in my room and the other two in my kids rooms! I am the only one with access to the answering machine. I don't have to yell upstairs to my kids or pick up the phone to interrupt ther conversations .....all I have to do is hit conference on the my phone and it beeps to let them know I need to use the phone or they can just click over talk to me and get back to their phone call !!! I bought this phone and really liked it at first because it was very nice and worked very well. However, a couple of weeks later, it got so that I couldn't answer incoming calls on it. The reason why this is is because the receiver has to be precisely placed on the base in order for it to work. You just can't just place it, you have to precisely position it otherwise it doesn't work. It was a little frustrating at first, but after getting the hang of it (and missing a lot of calls) it's okay.Customer Review: Don't Buy

We have had this phone for a couple of years and for the most part the phone worked but the caller ID screen started losing pixels after about a year and is now illegible. The funny thing is it happened on all the phones (3) at roughly the same time, and at roughly the same rate. Now it is just annoying. We are not rough with the phone and keep in on the charger most of the time. I would not recommend this product.
