Customer Review: La distancia de alcance es muy pobre

Tengo instalada la base del telefono en la sala de mi casa, y tengo una extension en mi habitación, cuando cerramos la puerta la señal se pierde, si me muevo muy lejos de la base tambien se pierde la señal o empieza a tener fallos. Realmente el rango de alcance es muy debil y no me ha gustado.
Por otro lado, la presentación del equipo es muy buena, las funciones son excelentes, lo unico malo es que no tiene una bateria para mantener la memoria de la hora y el dia en la contestadora, ya que si hay un fallo en la energia electrica o se desconecta la fuente de voltaje se borra la fecha y la hora y hay que estar reprogramandolo cada vez que uno lo mueve o le va a hacer alguna limpieza.

We are very pleased with these cordless phones. These are great if you have a limited number of phone jacks because you only need one phone jack for the set. Due to builder error, we ended up with one phone jack in our study and one in our little daughter's room. However, with the phones we are able to have one in the study, the master bedroom, and the kitchen. Plus, you can take them anywhere in the house you need to. Which means, if one runs down, you still have two that are charged. And, this also allows you to let each phone run down completely before charging, extending the battery life. Again, we are very pleased with this product because it works well for our needs.Customer Review: i LOVE mine

I've used mine for a month now and could not be happier. The speakerphone volume on each handset is VERY loud and richer sounding than I expected. I also like the size and layout of the buttons. I did not have to do anything special to "associate" the handsets to the base and love having three of them. The one on the back porch has no touble communicating with the base unit which is upstairs an on the other side of the house. Overall, I think this is a huge bargain compared to other similar phones. It seems to deliver all it promises. I also like that it accepts the generic headset plug that I use with my cell phone. I have not used the answering machine.Customer Review: Ok but not great

We've had this phone now for the past 3 years. Our major complaint would be the crappy batteries. They drain quickly (on all three handsets) and now we find that they don't last beyond 15 minutes. On one of the handsets the display has gone bad and doesn't display properly. Overall they have served us well but because of the battery situation we now have to buy new phones.
We have decided to now go with the new GE 28821FE3 Dect 6.0 Digital 3-Handset. This is newer technology and is suppose to be superior to the 5.8 GHZ. I guess we'll find out.
Bottom line is I wouldn't recommend this phone due to the poor battery life.

I recently purchased this set of phones for a second time, I've had them for about a year an a half when suddenly the LCD caller ID display ceased to work on two out of three phones, other reviews said that replacement batteries were not available but I don't even know if that would have helped the issue. Regardless, there is a "do not disturb" button on the answering machine that deactivates all three ringers with one push of a button, as someone who works nites and doesnt like to be woken up at 8am by solicitors it is a Godsend, enough so that I purchased the whole system again! Hoping to squeak two years out of these...
