Customer Review: Great until control board failed

I bought this dryer in Feb 2007 and loved it until the control board failed in July 2008. The symptom was that the dryer would switch straight to "cool down" with no heat generated. I had a repairman come out and diagnose it, then ordered the new control board online and repaired it myself-- still a $240 venture. I read a review elsewhere were another owner had a similar control board failure at roughly the same age.
In it's working state, I've been happy with the dryer. Just the right number of settings, quick drying times, and a quiet appliance. I'm just disappointed to have to fix it after only 17 months!
