I just got the Flip and think it is great. However the cable? NO!!! It is an expensive and unneccesary accessory and why does anyone need 3? It is just a simple USB extension cable (with fancy packaging) that can be purchased at Fry's, Best Buys or any other electronics store (probably even Target) for much less than what they are charging. You may even have one from another application. Check it out first.Customer Review: Connectors don't fit!

I really wanted to like these cables, and I probably would if they actually fit. After realizing almost immediately how tight they were, I was afraid to plug one into my computer. I was finally able to get one to work by using some fine grit sandpaper to "adjust" the ends. It was painful, and who has that kind of time? Don't get these - there are better, cheaper options available.Customer Review: Over priced

Ok, I read the other reviews before I bought this and went ahead and bought it anyway. For starters this is something that should come with the camcorder, you only need one. For seconds they are all too short unless you lay the camcorder on the tower. For thirds the fit is a bit on the tight side and makes me worry that I will break the arm off the camcorder.It's a nessary evil.Customer Review: Convenient But...An After-Thought?

These extensions or 'patch cords' make it easy to download your videos from the Flip Camcorder. BUT, they should have been included in the original packaging of the Flip Camera. The Flip is just too bulky (even at its small size) to "hang" onto the USB port of your computer. Plus, I think these are overpriced. You only need one. I should start out by saying I don't have a Flip Camcorder. What I use these for is to connect protruding usb devices(flash drives, mice transceivers, etc.) to my laptop. It just prevents accidental damage from bumps into said devices. To this end, they work great. I do agree that initially they are rather stiff, but that fades over time.
