Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Flip Video TripodCustomer Review: Way to small to be useful. Summary: 1 Stars
I knew this was a mini tripod when I bought it, but really, it's incredibly small. So small that I don't know how it is supposed to be useful at all. It doesn't seem to add to the stability of the flip at all, especially seeing how it attaches off to one side, it seems to make it even more unstable. It also only raises the camera up maybe 4 inches. I might as well just place the camera on a table or any other flat surface.
Customer Review: Tripod for Mini Flip Ultra Summary: 4 Stars
I bought the mini flip-video camera to make Youtube movies. I love the camera. The tripod was very tiny, smaller than I expected. The tripod can be used to point the little camcorder at its target, but the camera is so small and easy to use, I found that I really do not need the tripod. The camera can be set on anything and get the same results. It's nice to have the tripod, just in case, but for me, it is basically useless.
Customer Review: An essential if you have a Flip Summary: 5 Stars
Seeing that few of us have firm hands and that his recorder can be a bit "jerky" in its filming this tri pod is an essential piece of equipment for the flip. I sit the recorder and tri pod on a book and record my sermons at church each week. I've also used it to record concerts. Without this the quality would not be as good. The tri pod is very flexible and can bend so you can video at various angles. Nice!!!!
Customer Review: flip camcorder tripod stand Summary: 5 Stars
Great. Comes with a few color changes for the "feet" which is -- I'm not sure what that is-- excessive perhaps? The tripod is quite stable and the bendy legs are able to conform to whatever base upon which they sit. You can set this thing on an incline (rock for instance) or wrap the legs on a limb or bar. Pretty cool. We own three flip video camcorders. They are great for the entire family -- kids love them!
Customer Review: Great, for what it is Summary: 4 Stars
This is great if you're filming the world around you in a casual style, but if you're serious about it, then you should really spend more money to buy a better tripod. Aside from being laughably short, this tripod was kind of hard to manipulate to get it just right. Mine hasn't yet tipped over, though I think one of these time that's going to happen. Its bendable legs were just a little tricky.
