Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Flip Video TripodCustomer Review: Flip Video Tripod Summary: 5 Stars
This is an excellent little item. Little, it is and very portable. So, it goes along easily with my small flip video camera. In fact, it slides down into the side of my flip video case, so there's no hassle with an extra item. This simple little device allows for many different types of shots and "taping" than without it, because it is the extra pair of "hands" that is need at times, in order to capture certain types of videos. And it's great when you want to tape yourself and there's no one to hold the camera for you. Expensive, light, and handy. A good deal all around.
Customer Review: Flip Tripod Summary: 5 Stars
Having thrown away a Digipower DP-TP100 Light Weight Compact Mini Tripod because of complete dissatisfaction with the product I was still in need of several small tripods. I ran through the product description of this Flip tripod and was immediately interested. I ordered one to determine if my needs would be fulfilled and my expectations met and now I have three of them!
Extremely well built, very small and very sturdy in use. I have only the most positive things to say about this and would easily and quickly recommend it to anyone in need of a mini tripod.
Customer Review: Works Great! Summary: 5 Stars
So far it works just as I thought it would. Its sturdy, and didn't cost as much as other mini-stands do...the stands that are cheaper in price than this one are also cheaper in quality.
I am glad that I was able to get this flip stand brand, to go with my flip camera.
It also works with my other digital cameras, so it works great for timed still digital pictures...of course my wife's professional canon is to heavy for it, but that's to be expected it wasn't made for that.
Great to have video that is hands free and not shaky!
Customer Review: recommended for kids Summary: 5 Stars
Purchased rather on a whim along with my Flip camera and am grateful I did. The mechanics are very simple and user-friendly, and my girls like the interchangeable tips. I agree with an earlier reviewer that the packaging was a bit excessive. I purchased the Flip intending for it to get a lot of young use around our house, and it has. The children make delightful, spontaneous videos, but their camera work can be dizzying. When they use the tripod, their videos are infinitely more viewable by adults.
I think a necessary addition for young users.
Customer Review: Lightweight, Flexible Accessory Summary: 5 Stars
You can't own a Flip Video (or any camera) without this nifty, lightweight tripod. It's a sturdy metal tripod that weighs about 12 ounces. The interchangeable rubber tips are a cool idea, but not really necessary unless you are a total "mix 'n match' freak. The legs are really flexible, which means you can mount this on just about any uneven surface. It would have been nice if they included a clip for vertical surfaces, but hey, for the price, it's a steal.
