I am sure this is a great little device if I could get past the smell. It is awful. I am thinking I got a defective one because nobody else has mentioned that this thing stinks like burning rubber. And the smell stays in your nose and gets on everything it touches. Please someone let me know if this is the case with all of these.Customer Review: It is small, but it works well.

This is a tiny tripod as it appears in the pictures. Be ready to have a table handy at any location you want to record...perhaps take about 10 thick books and stack them. I do not know, whatever will make your videos be at the height you desire. It works very well and holds the camera still, so I would say it is a good tripod.Customer Review: great accessory for the flip!

This little accessory has opened up several new possibilities for me and my videos. I am not an expert by any means, and didn't think I would use this, but it has some in handy on several occasions. I like that it's as portable as the Flip itself, so I can take it wherever I go and always be ready to take a nice, steady video.Customer Review: great and helpful gadget

The flip video is so small, it's sometimes difficult to keep still and let the subject move. This nifty little thing solves that problem, fits in a pocket, is indexpensive.... what else could you want?? (except maybe some velcro straps to attach it to a pole of other vertical stand... but, then, you can get some velcro, too!)Customer Review: So tiny, I don't find it useful

I guess I need to pay closer attention to the dimensions of the things I order. I was totally surprised at how tiny this tripod was when it arrived, and so I was disappointed.
I ended up spending $14 at one of the local "big box" stores to get a taller tripod with collapsible legs that works much better for me.
