I absolutely love my Flip Ultra! My boyfriend got it for me for my birthday and I've used it many times. The video quality is good enough for me. I mainly just use it to capture those moments when you wish you had a video camera on hand but you never do because they're too big. This one is just the right size to keep in your purse or coat pocket. If you buy this product you may want to also purchase the Flip Batter Pack or you'll be changing batteries a lot if you use it a lot. I was afraid of modern technology, so I originally bought a video camera that uses mini tapes. Well, it's hard to share that footage. I bought the Flip as a way to video tape my kids & share with my family around the country. The only thing I don't like that happened yesterday was it turns off on it's own after a while. My mom, whom is technologically challenged, was going to tape my kids & me as we came down a huge slide at a carnival. I turned it on for her, but she said it powered off by the time we got to the tops of the slide.Customer Review: great everyday use

this camera is very easy to use which will allow us to use it more often. The features are minimal but thats what makes it so great. Very easy to share and transfer videos which again makes it a camera you would rather use than our expensive miniDV one. A couple of feature they might want to add is an anti-shake and a littile bit of optical zoom. A thing that I noticed also is when reviewing your video, you would need to click one by one. It would be very nice if a thumbnail for browsing was available. Other than that shoot away!Customer Review: junky camera, bad tech support

A somewhat-sturdy-yet-junky camera- like an expensive, good quality disposable. the lens broke, and o easy way to fix it without pretty much paying the cost of a new camera.
Buy one and use it when you are going to a seminar or even where you need a good camera that takes AA batteries and does a good job- but remember, its a "re-sposable" camera.
Flip might want to consider giving awards when someone's camera (someone that USES it!) actually survives the 12 month mark.
