This product is horrible. I had such high hopes and was so excited about receiving my new Flip in August. Used it for some videos during a vacation in September. It quit on me in November. After the go around via e-mail they finally did a copy and paste of their warranty "rules" in their reply to me. Don't waste your money on this product. Use your money to buy a digital camera with built-in HD video. This company is not going to survive long with 90 day product warranty and without any flexibility in their system. Mine quit on me just over 90 days.
While I had it though it was easy to use like all the other reviewers mentioned. Good picture quality but in the end, product did not survive the 90 day period. Money down the drain.

It died after 12 months. It won't charge up, no matter what I do, including depressing the reset button and charging it overnight. Many others (check the internet) have the same complaint. Comes with 90 day warranty. I highly recommend that you do not buy this product.Customer Review: for Macs

After buying the 2nd generation MinoHD 120 minutes and discovering what so many have, that it didn't fit any Mac USB port, I returned it and tried this one instead. The USB arm seems sturdier & fits the Mac USB with no problem. Customer Review: Expensive Disposable Camera

The Flip Mino HD is an impressive little gadget. Its video quality is far beyond what you would expect from such a tiny device, and its small size and intuitive interface make sure it always claims a space in your pocket. I really can not say enough good things about this product's features.
However, I don't recommend buying one. Just four months after purchasing this camcorder BRAND NEW, it has stopped working entirely. It doesn't turn on, it doesn't show up on my computer, and it certainly doesn't record videos any more.
My camera is in flawless physical condition, so I am lead to believe that the innards of these devices are of very shoddy quality. I have scoured the internet and found many others facing the same situation I am. The manufacturer recommends that we place a paperclip in the reset button, which has not resolved the problem for myself or for thousands of others.
The warranty covers an unacceptable 90 days after purchase. This company must have very little confidence in this product to only offer support for 90(!) days. I doubt they are ever surprised to receive angry phone calls or product reviews.
In short, this is an impressive and fun to use product that unfortunately has a lifespan of about 3 months. For that reason, I do not recommend it.

I gave this camera as a Christmas gift. The recipient had mentioned the mino in passing so I did a little research and ordered this item. He was delighted with it.
