Though this looks nearly identical to the Manfrotto offering, it's not built as well. I bought mine about a year ago, and over time the ball lock has worn to the point that it will not support big fast glass like it did in the beginning, no matter how tight the tensioner is set. It's a great value for the cost, but keep in mind you're getting something that's not quite as good/durable for the discounted price.
