I'm really pleased that I bought the Flashpoint F-2 Tripod Ball Head. The price was right and it has served wonderfully well with my Canon 100-400 zoom lens and a Flashpoint carbon-fiber monopod. I am making use of a different manufacturer's quick release plate with the Flashpoint because it, in my opinion, gives me more stability of attachment with the 100-400 zoom. I'd recommend the Flashpoint F-2 head to anyone.
