Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Fellowes Wire Study Stand-Silver (10024)Customer Review: Not for soft cover books. Summary: 4 Stars
Extremely portable, light, and durable. This is definitely a product worth trying! I think it's better suited for hard cover books though, It's a little flimsy when its holding onto large soft cover books. I am a little bothered that its not SYMMETRICAL, One of the legs is longer than the other, but that doesn't really hinder its functionality. I would recommend this product for hard cover books that aren't thicker than a 1.5".
Customer Review: excellent product Summary: 5 Stars
I read the reviews before purchasing this product, and I have no trouble turning pages or adjusting books. The design is clever and you can't beat the price. I bought three of them (grad student) for research and writing. Fits easily in my backpack, too. The arms are 1.5" wide, so thick books won't fit. Most library books fit fine; you'd need a different device for something like a dictionary or other reference book.
Customer Review: Difficult Summary: 1 Stars
I just bought this, and have been using it for a regular paperback novel.
The coiled wire catches the pages, it's difficult to turn the pages, and there really is nothing to hold the book open without causing the book prop to stand unevenly.
I would recommend a book prop with a plastic back and swivels at the bottom that will adjust with you book.

Customer Review: Compact, portable, great for music! Summary: 5 Stars
I wanted something I could put on a table top to use for my guitar lesson book and it's perfect. It holds the book open, the legs are adjustable to make the posts that hold the book open wider or closer together. It folds flat to take with you though I haven't needed to do this yet.
Terrific price for a very handy product. Beats having to move a music stand around the house.
Customer Review: Nice stand, but my book didnt fit. Summary: 4 Stars
I couldn't find the dimensions of the little arms that hold the book, but I can tell you that there is less than 1.5 " of space between the arm and the back. I have a 4.5 " text book I wanted to set up, but if I divide the pages into thirds I can get it to work. It's alright, but not what I really wanted. The construction is solid, and it's a nice stand, just a pain for thick books.
