This is a must have if you have wrist problems. I was always on the computer almost all day and my doctor said I might develop wrist problems. I tried a bunch of different wrist rests but they were all too squishy and didn't help. Then I tried this one and my wrist has been getting better!! I like this product enough that I have now ordered a replacement. It is very effective--supportive and comfortable. However, it is not very durable. The one I had lasted several months (whereas some other wrist rests lasted several years), then it split along the sides. this gel cushion has made all the difference in the world to my wrist and forearm, it was becoming quite painful with my laptop to be able to do other things .
my wrist and forearm would tighten up so much as to hardly be able to hold the phone or open a package . the pain was excruciating . and now it no longer is a problem.

It's comfortable but I live in Florida and my office is on the warm side. The plastic covering starts feeling warm pretty quickly. It's also a little on the small side, if you move your hand much it won't work. I'm using it with a trackball so theoretically my hand isn't moving yet I still "fall off" of this sometimes.Customer Review: Saved my wrist

I was having a lot of wrist pain when using the mouse. I got two of these (work and home) and they have resolved that problem entirely. They are comfortable and unobtrusive.
If there were any negatives for it, it would be that over time it seems to collect skin/dust, but it easy enough to wipe off.
