Customer Review: Not suitable for small wrists

I ordered this wrist rest to replace a similar one that had worn out. My old one was more elongated in shape, where this one is quite wide. I have a very small wrist, and am finding the width of this wrist rest to be uncomfortable. My wrist is sitting on top of the pad, rather than leaning over the edge, which makes my skin sticky/sweaty and is causing a small blister. For someone with a larger wrist, I would definitely recommend this product. The quality is good, and the non-skid backing keeps it nicely in place. However, if you are a petite woman or young adult, I would recommend buying one that is more narrow and elongated rather than thick and wide. It's simply too large for a tiny arm and wrist.Customer Review: Gave me a wrist rash!

After a hefty round of home improvement, I started getting a lot of wrist pain at my IT job, so I put in with my manager for whatever ergonomic assistance could be had. A few days later, I came in and found this blue jellybean waiting for me at my desk. After a day, I found myself having to put a Post-it note on the pad to create a surface with less friction. Perhaps this pad works well for those who rest their hand on the mouse constantly, but it chafed me horribly. I have never had such problems with a wrist rest before and I do not understand why they couldn't have simply wrapped their firm wrist rest in a nylon sheathe. I would not buy this product and I would not recommend it to others.Customer Review: I wish I had a pair of shoes this comfortable!

Just received my wrist gel pad today and what a difference! No more soreness from my wrist resting on the sharp edge of the keyboard tray. At first, the gel is a bit too firm but as your body heat warms it, it softens like a comfortable glove for your wrist to rest upon. I use it with a wireless optical mouse and it's perfect for that. I can move it around as need be without the location being constrained by an attached mouse pad or the pot holder I've been using to ease the pain in my wrist.
Earlier today I found myself wondering and wishing if there were any of these gel pads made for shoes, it is that comfortable!

This is the best wrist rest.
As wrist rests go, this wrist rest must exist as best.
It is billed as a "flex" wrist rest. As such, the reviewer must defer to the manufacturer's best judgment, because this wrist rest does list (in my case, it lists to the right). I do find that the odor emitted by the new wrist rest is not the best, but you do get used to it.
Should a user get used to the wrist rest smell, though, the user used to the best flex wrist rest's existing smell is rewarded.
So, to sum up, here we have the best right-listing flex wrist rest that exists.

I initially bought the Belkin F8E244-BLK WaveRest Gel Wrist Pad and it was AWFUL. Within a couple months is had completely flattened out and was virtually useless. I bought this one next and have had it for about 6 months now and it is still totally functional and comfortable (it has flattened a little in the center, but no where near as flat as the Belkin product became and the slight concave dent that this one has now actually makes it a little more comfortable). If you are debating between the two, I STRONGLY recommend you give this one a try and avoid the Belkin product entirely. Hope that helps.
