Product delivers on all its specifications. I was especially surprised by how quiet the device is while it is shredding. The unit has plenty of capacity and has a excellent motor (doesn't seem to slow down when shredding ten documents at time). Some folks think this shredder does not handle several sheets of paper. It is actually because it has a sensor that makes sure the paper "goes in" as straight as possible. It is a smart shredder. It is surprising to see that some customers are able to shred more than 10 sheets a time.
I just got this bulky shredder and it can barely handle 5 sheets a time.
Now I will have to go the return process - time wasted means money wasted.

I had the same experience that G. Wasiluk did - the safety sensor tab was broken off when I received the product. So, I sent it back to Amazon.com, and got a full refund. I think that because of the flimsiness of this particular part, this product does not fare well during shipping.Customer Review: Great shredder!

I have done in several shredders over the years. The Fellowes shredder has been able to keep up with my demands. The safety features are important when my granddaughters are visiting. I'm very pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone who wants a powerful product.
