Very quiet, powerful and versatile. Will take care of credit cards and computer disks. The touch sensor on the intake slot seems to work well for deactivation of the shredding action. The blue power and status LEDs are too bright for my taste but the manual advises that the power switch should turned off when not in use which turns off the lights.Customer Review: so far so good

So far I've shredded about a bushel of documents. Have had no problems. Seems to handle about 3/16" of paper at a time. Would have preferred a shredder that made smaller chips but the cross cut is preferable to a strip shredder and more affordable than many finer cut shredders. Glad I did not purchase a smaller capacity shredder.Customer Review: Workhorse

I have had this item for over a year now. I can say it is reliable, and strong. Used for long periods at a time. I did not purchase the oil for this product, I instead did some investigating on the manufacturers site and noticed it said vegatable oil. Much quieter than previous shredder. Seems well built and appears it will last a long time, especially in a home office setting. Like the large bin for shredded paper and that the bin pulls out to empty easily without removing the shredder mechanism of the unit. Overall, very satisfied with product at this time .Customer Review: Not very good at all!

The first shredder broke even before I got the credit card bill. A call to customer service resulted in a new replacement shredder which was received in about a week. It is still working (3 weeks) but it overheats very quickly. It does have some nice features, i.e. bin full etc. It just isn't worth the money.
