I didn't got the cable that is in the pictures, neither anything marked as "HDMI King" but I did get an HDMI cable.
Looks:
The cable itself looks great, strong and modern. It has a nice black/gray finish on both ends, giving it a kind of more-expensive-cable look.
Performance:
I could write a lot, or just say the truth: It's GREAT. Image is flawless and sound is perfect, no complaints at all. My family is amazed of how good 1080 looks and I'm no exeption.
Overall I fell lucky I bought this instead of some monster cable or a more expensive "branded" one. I give it an A+. (So far.)

Soon after buying my HDTV I purchased this after finding HDMI cables selling for ridiculously high prices at retail stores. At about 7 bucks, this was a steal. CNET specifically suggests buying HDMI from Amazon, saying the retail ones are rip-offs. They're right.
The cable came on time, in a no-frills packaging in a secure box. The cable itself works perfectly. There's not much more to say. What more could you want?
My understanding is that cables for digital media either work, or they don't. Buying a more expensive cable won't make a bit of difference except for making your wallet lighter. Go for this.

I bought this HDMI cable over two months ago and I must say I am very satisfied. I bought it because I intend on get either a PS3 or a Xbox360. I having a difficult time choosing between the two of them that why I haven't bought it yet. Anyhow back to the cable they work perfectly. I bought them for about $.46 and they work amazingly well. When I got cable they gave me a whole bunch of AV cable and they look bad on the back of my 42 inch Samsung Plasma Tv. Now I only have one cord connecting the cable to the Tv. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for HDMI cable and don't want to spend a fortune on them.

Purchased this cable to go along with a blu-ray player as part of a Christmas gift(including me setting up and connecting the blu-ray). As far as tangible quality, it appeared to have the same attributes as the $75 cable that was used to connect the TV to the cable box. Functionally, so far, the cord is outstanding - no problems what so ever! The picture from blu-rays and upconverted dvds is as crisp and clear as any I've seen. The only reason that I did not give the cable 5 stars is the fact that it has only been in use for about two weeks and would not feel comfortable giving 5 out of 5 without some sense of durability.Customer Review: Home Theatre Audiophile

I am a home theatre enthusiast and am constantly reading up on the latest information about home theatre. I have also done and helped with several home theatre installs. I have NOT purchased this cable, but I can tell you unequivocally that by price and construction alone this cable is a KILLER deal. Most gold plated, ferrite core HDMI cables would cost you at LEAST $30 and more likely closer to $50, with prices going well over $100 quickly. There may be better cables out there, but I would recommend this one to any of my family and friends. Unless you WANT to spend over $100 this is a great cable to get.
