Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Fanatic Digital Gold-Plated HDMI Cable with ferrite cores (2 meters/6 feet)Customer Review: Fanatic Digital HDMI v.1.3 with Ferrite Core Cable Review Summary: 2 Stars
The Fanatic Digital HDMI Cable 2 Meter (6 ft.) Gold Plated v.1.3 HDMI to HDMI Cable with Ferrite Cores sometimes lost its connection to my Timewarner Scientific Atlanta DVR. My setup has Onkyo TX-SR607 7.2 Receive Box with Samsung 55" LED TV, PS3, and Timewarner DVR. Sometimes I lost connection on both devices but when I reset all the devices involved, it comes back normally. I tried to use it straight from Samsung 55" LED TV to my Sony PS3 and got the same result. I tried to borrow my friend's HDMI v.1.3 120 MHz cable without Ferrite Cores and I didn't get any issues at all. I think the Ferrite Cores is the one giving me the intermittent "NO SIGNAL" issue.
I hope you can provide any support or just replace the cable without the Ferrite Cores.
Thanks,
Cornelio Lito Liclic
Customer Review: soild value HDMI cable Summary: 5 Stars
Over Thanksgiving weekend I braved the crowds at Best Buy and bought a new Samsung Blu-ray player to compliment my 46" 1080p 120 htz Samsung LCD. It wasn't until I got home that I realized this particular model didn't come standard with an HDMI cable but instead with a 3 prong RCA video cable. I mean what's the point? Why tout blu-ray's superior picture and package an inferior connection cord? (But I digress) after seeing Best Buy's least expensive HDMI cable was $29.99 and noting it wasn't even sheilded for that price, I decided to start looking online. I found this inexpensive high quality product in amazon's marketplace. I bought 2 in anticipation of a future connection to a home theature system or gaming console. The cable worked just as promised from day 1 and I have no regets.
Customer Review: Why pay more? Summary: 5 Stars
I got this cable for a samsung plasma screen tv and ps3 connection. I figured if it worked, great! I would have gotten a killer deal! If it didn't work, I just spent about $10 and wouldn't be too upset if I had to get another (higher priced) cable in the future.
It came in a sealed plastic pouch, probably saving the consumer in packaging material costs. I hooked the cables in to both and "viola!", the HDMI cable does exactly what it is supposed to. I can see and hear everything that goes through my ps3. The picture quality from blu-ray discs through this cable is great and so is the sound! I have absolutely no complaints (and can now stick my tounge out and taunt those who purchase the grossly overpriced cables at electronics stores). :P
Customer Review: Excellent and inexpensive Summary: 5 Stars
The HDMI KING cables (bought 2) have been working flawlessly on our new entertainment system. I honestly don't know how Monster and other high-priced cable manufacturers have the gall to charge $50 to $80 and even more for a cable, when these work just fine. Two features I like about this cable are: 1) the ferrite cores at both ends of the cable, which help to eliminate interference problems so that the cable doesn't act as an antenna, and 2) the cables are thick and sturdy, not flimsy. They have a quality feel about them and appear they will last a long time.
Don't waste your money on supposedly "high-speed" HDMI cables. The signal is digital (zeros and ones) and this cable will work just as well as the hugely overpriced Monster brand.
Customer Review: BUY THESE! Don't blow money on more expensive cables! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought two of these cables from HDMIKing and not only are they excellently crafted, they are PERFECT for my 1080p needs! I bought a 3 foot 1.3 rated cable from Walmart for $27.54 plus tax. I won't be making that mistake again :) I was concerned when I ordered these cables, hoping that I wasn't throwing away good money. The positive reviews I read HERE convinced me to take the chance. So now I'm giving back, adding my pure positive review to the others. DON'T worry, these will work great for your system :)
NOTE: The cables are twice as long as I really needed, but they are quite slim and extremely flexible, so don't worry about excess cable stiffly causing bundle problems for your setup!
