Great battery (as told by another rewiewer) with more capity up to 850mAh means longer time between charge, in compare with 600mAh from the original iPod and 450 or 550mAh as offer by other seller on Amazon.com, I google for more capicity and find out a 950mAh is on sale also, for 29.99, but not from Amazon so I decide to buy here, it's safer.
Pro: better capicity, works flawlessly with my (daughter) iPod Video 80 GB 5th generation, but I am still waiting some more time to see for its longevity, and will feedback again. For the time being its worth 5 stars.
Con: The tool, yes "the tool" that includes with the battery package is very tricky, it can hurt you anytime with their sharp edge on both sides. The stronger you are the more likely you will be wounded.
Tip: Follow the instruction in your package, slide the tool along all 4 sides of your iPod to open a thin "ravin" first, then secondly instead of trying to force your tool between the edge of your iPod, avoid the left side, from the middle of the right side of your ipod (face up) insert the tool firmly, by both hands: one hand you hold the tool for insertion another hand use your thumb to press it gently but firmly until you hear a small click, then gently twist and slide it upward and downward many times until you feel it loosen and voila` remove your tool, use your finger nail to slide it open.
