The Eton FR300 is a good buy for price offered. It seems to be everything that was advertized. Everything works and it will be the perfect radio/light in the event of an emergency. I ordered the cell phone tip for my Tilt cell phone and have not received it yet. Hopefully it is available. The first one I received was defective, but thanks to Amazon's awesome return procedures, I got a replacement in only a few days. The radio sound is tinny, not a product I would use except for emergencies, but that's why I got it. The hand crank works well to power the radio, so batteries are not required. This is no hi-fi quality stereo system. It's an emergency radio, which is fairly durable, has nifty features like a flash light and siren, and can work both on batteries and from cranking. The sound is not going to dazzle anybody - once again, this is an emergency radio. Worth the money and certainly good to have.Customer Review: Just what I was looking for

My husband wore out my old crank radio (cheap) and wanted the same type in a new purchase. After viewing several makes, we decided on the Eton metallic red color. A good piece of gear that I gave 4/5 stars because it does not come with a DC adaptor. That should be an integral part of the radio system.
The reason I'm writing this is to advise getting the adaptor from the Eton Website. Don't pay the crazy price other sources ask.
