I purchased this radio to take on fishing trips in the midwest and Ontario and have been very pleased with the weather channel reception as well as the AM & FM bands. I just recently tuned in to the TV channels it picks up and was again plaesantly surprised at the reception considering we were away from any major city. I like the "dynamo" and my boys enjoy cranking it so it runs on its own juice instead of the batteries. I highly recommend this unit.Customer Review: Mistake in manual

My biggest complaint with the radio is that the manual mistakenly promises over an hour of listening time for 60-90 seconds of cranking. You only get 10 minutes of listening time which would be fine for emergencies but you'll definitely need to run this on batteries for regular listenting. I called customer service three times to ask about this and never recieved a call back. Otherwise, a nice radio with very good reception.Customer Review: No Charger?

Radio works fine...a little weak on signal, but it'll do in the city. I can't believe it's offered without a charger and really can't believe how much the charger was to buy separate (plus another shipping charge). Yea, yea, I read that it didn't come with a charger, I just thought I'd crank it and that would be enough. BUY THE CHARGER. I like the radio but was disappointed that the cell phone adaptor and the charging cord did not come with it. Instead you are required to send in your registration card and then they will send you the cell phone adaptor and the charging cord. I sent in the card but no have not received them. GREAT RADIO. LITHIUM BATTERY ALOT BETTER THAN STRAIGHT CRANK AS WITH OTHER MODLES. WE TAKE RADIO CAMPING, GREAT RECEPTION NO PROBLEMS. PHONE CHARGER NOT REALY INTENDED TO CHARGE PHONE, AT LEAST NOT PRACTICAL WAY. YOU COULD BE CRANKING FOR QUITE SOME TIME AND NOT GET MUCH CHARGE. THAT IS THE ONLY DOWNSIDE TO RADIO. OTHER THAN THAT, EXCELLENT. STRONGLY RECOMMEND.
