It's really useful.
Because while we sitting in front the computer, we get tired, and we will alwasy change our pose on the chair. Every time we change the pose, we can change the pose of the moniter with the arm. Very nice thing, I like it very much.

This is a well made product with great features. You can adjust the spring tension to keep the display balanced so it stays where you put it.
The clamp that mounts to the end of the desktop is very sturdy and solidly handles my 22" Samsung monitor. I able to move the monitor from touching the desktop to height of 9 inches and can also rotate and tilt the display. It also has a range of more than 26 inches of forward reach. This is one of the better upgrades I have made and I recommend this product.

This product is great. The amount of additional desk top space made available due to the small mounting base is greatly increased. The instructions took a while to figure out because I had to drill a hole in the top of my desk to mount the arm.(it comes with 2 different ways to mount your flat panel screen.) The alternate installation is a no-brainer,ie: no drilling at all. I highly recommend this product and you will love the way it is adjustable for the weight of the screen and the almost unlimited positions to view it from your chair. This product surpasses my expectations. It is very easy to install, I got it set up in under an hour. Now I can move my 22-inch monitor close, farther, higher, lower, pretty much adjust every fine angle and location until one feels comfortable. There are a number of options for anchoring this system to your table, and you can position the anchor to your side, in the front or in the corners, it still retains its functionality. I think this prooduct is a very fine piece of engineering. I was skeptical at first if it would bear the weight of a 22-inch monitor, but my worries have been laid to rest. Somehow, all you have to do is give it a little push or a tug to get it in a position you want. Sensitivity is completely ajustible with the help of the provided hex screws.
All in all, I am very satisfied with this system and may plan on buying another one to pair with a second 22-inch monitor.

I purchased this product to improve the ergonomics of my wife's workstation, which it did with flying colors. She already had a very nice "pedestal" style stand, but after reviewing options, the Ergotron LX looked like a superior solution. This is because of the design of the product--the Ergotron has extreme range of motion (compared to any pedestal stand), allowing one to easily pull the monitor towards oneself, push it back, up down, even tilt it forward or back (or side to side, or rotate between landscape and portrait). It also frees up desk space, since it clamps to the back of the desk (you must have enough overhang at the back of the desk in order to use the clamp).
The true testimony, however, is that after installing my wife's Ergotron, I went and purchased their dual-arm model (I'm anticipating some day getting a 2nd LCD...). So, the stand works great with a 19" ViewSonic or a 21" Dell.
Highly recommended. Remember you may have to adjust the tension (I did not), and another reviewer mentions how to navigate Ergotron's web site to get an official list of supported monitors. Their web site is also worth checking out for installation details and requirements.
