Customer Review: Bought two, only one lasted longer than two years.

These worked fine with my Uniden TRU8885-2 PowerMax 5.8GHz Handsets, but never seemed to last quite as long as the original Uniden BT-446 batteries. After two years, only one of them still holds a reasonable charge (a bit over an hour). The other lasts for less than 20 minutes, even when fully charged. At $12.20 apiece (currently), these are half the price of the Uniden batteries. There are even cheaper alternatives available, but who knows how reliable...Customer Review: Phones are better than new.

The battery life is better with these batteries than the original ones. If the originals lasted nearly 2 years, these surely will. Still cheaper than buying (and learning) new phones.
I have read a lot of grousing about battery life in these reviews and quite frankly poor battery life is the fault of the user. Period.
Shut up and buy new ones every few years or go back to corded phones!

The Energizer replacement packs have extended the phone stand-by and talk times while off charger back to the 3-5 days I was used to when the phones were new. I don't think the time is any longer than the OEM equipment when new as some reviews have suggested, but definitely a notable improvement and a much less rapid discharge time once the indicator shows "low battery"Customer Review: Good to go

I got replacement batteries for my older uniden phone from the local Batteries Plus where I really like the guys but the batteries they gave me were actually worse than the worn-out factory ones no matter which way I tried to 'condition' (charge) them. These Energizers make the phone perform exactly like new and the price was very competitive too. Thanks Amazon!Customer Review: exactly what I needed

We have a couple of cordless Uniden PowerMax 5.8 ghz phones model number TRU8860-2 that weren't lasting for more than an hour of use on the original batteries. These batteries fit perfectly, and we have renewed battery life once again. We haven't even gotten below 2 bars yet in over a month of usage, so the quality of battery life seems to be exceptional.
