Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Energizer ERP512GRN NiMH Cordless Phone Battery

Customer Review: Not worth the extra money
Summary: 1 Stars

Bought this "Energizer" product hoping it would work better than the cheap no name batteries I previously purchased and reviewed as not good and this more expensive product does not work any better than the $2-3 versions of this battery. It will not charge in remote charger, it does not hold a charge for any longer than the cheap batteries. My conclusion is if you have to live with replacement batteries like I am doing, just buy the cheap ones and replace them every 6 months. Or, as I am about to do, just buy a completely new phone system just to get new OEM batteries that charge in remote charger and last more than 1 day on a charge.

Customer Review: My phone lasts so much longer
Summary: 5 Stars

I have a Uniden BT-446 phone. After a couple of years, the battery started to wane and for the past several months, they would not hold a charge for longer than an hour or so. I looked around for compatible batteries and found these. They are terrific and fit/work just as they are advertised to. I can now talk for hours without recharging and leave my phones off the base charger stand for days. Its been about a month now and I think these batteries work better than the original factory ones did when I first bought the phone. Should definitely have gotten these earlier! I highly recommend these.

Customer Review: Is it worth it?
Summary: 2 Stars

I bought 3 of these batteries last year (literally a year ago) to replace the batteries for the set of phones I purchased at Costco several years ago. The batteries in the phones lasted a few years (approximately 3) before the batteries started dying. Amazon's price for the replacements were truly competitive, but these batteries started dying out a month ago. The batteries were great while they lasted, but the debate is, is it worth it to spend another $30 on replacements or is it better to just spring for a new phone set for double the price?

Customer Review: Recommended!
Summary: 5 Stars

Originally purchased the "BT-446 Cordless phone battery for Uniden" on Amazon which were very cheap and looked just like the originals which I had in my phones for 7+ years. Those replacements were inferior and unacceptable as after 4-6 weeks would only hold approximately 8 minutes of charge despite working at first. These Energizer batteries are the real deal. They hold a charge and work like new! Recommended. Certainly not as cheap as the others but you get what you pay for and still cheaper than buying locally.

Customer Review: Make Phone Like New
Summary: 5 Stars

I have older Uniden phones which I got at Costco many years ago and one day I noticed that they wouldn't hold a charge for more than a few hours off the charger so I got new replacement batteries and the phones are like new. For about $30 I have great phones and it would have cost at least double that for new ones plus replacing batteries is probably much better for the environment. We live in a throw-away society and to the extent that I can change it I will. These batteries fit perfectly. Highly recommended.
