Customer Review: powerful!!
Summary: 5 Stars

2500 mAh Energizer AA : These batteries are POWERFUL. You will need to use an overnight charger & let them charge for the whole time listed to get the complete & fullest charge for these batteries. The quick chargers are good for keeping the teary eyed toddler from throwing a fit, then after he goes to bed, put them in the overnight charger. These batteries have been in our son's Leapfrog Clickstart keyboard for over a month & they are STILL going strong, longer than the regular AA's, and he uses it everyday. We have the C size in the console & same there, over a month now - almost 2 - lasting longer than the regular batteries did (only a month) I am completely amazed at how long they hold a charge. I am getting more because we seem to have quite a few things that need AAs. The price may seem steep at first, but we will save quite a lot in just a year by using these rechargeables.

Customer Review: WASTE of money, buy Eneloop instead
Summary: 1 Stars

I have bought 2-3 packs of these batteries, all disappointments. You'd think such a simple thing was basically failsafe, right? Nope. I thought I had just gotten a bad batch the first time. Nope again. The only way I can use these batteries is if I charge them right before I need them. I can't even tell you how many times I went to go play Wii and then realized ALL of these batteries were dead. Even worse was I had charged them fully no more than 2 days prior. Total garbage in my opinion, my brother even had some which all do the same thing as well. So, unless you are extremely organized and plan out when you want to play video games, use TV remotes, etc... spend your money on anything but these. I had a pair of Fuji rechargables that came with my first digital camera 10 years ago that hold a charge WAY longer than these shiny little turds. The Energizer bunny has sh** itself and died.

Customer Review: Cut cost and waste - Great!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have used the energizer rechargeable for years. I love to go camping. Flash lights, mp3 players and other battery hungry devices can become very expensive to power. Not to mention the everyday items around the house like my wireless mouse and keyboard and tv remotes. I have used the same rechargables at least 100x. I never purached new batteries for tv remotes, mp3 players or flash lights. I use a Mag light which takes 3D battery. I use the slow charger. I have never had a problem.

Two tips for using rechargeables:

Use slow charge for longer life of battery in terms of number of recharges, and long life as for as maintining a charge.

Use the fast charger (15 min quick charge) when you tv remote dies on you and you need batteries fast.

If you have not made the switch to rechargable, do yourself a favor and switch.

Customer Review: The best NiMH AA batteries
Summary: 5 Stars

I use these batteries with the Energizer Quick (15-min) charger. It's important to note that these are the 2500 mAH batteries. Energizer also makes 2100 and 2200 versions that are sometimes erroneously listed as 2500 on others' websites. These are the real deal.

They charge within 15 minutes in the charger and keep their charge as indicated. I keep extras with me when I am photographing, as my flash is power hungry. I often get more flashes out than the manufacturer claims is possible with its own proprietary battery.

I have charged, discharged, and recharged them many times with no noticeable loss. They do get very hot in the charger and need to cool before using. Also--and this is probably obvious--they do not work once wet, even if allowed to dry. (I had an unfortunate experience with a canoe and a lake.)

Customer Review: Avoid these batteries
Summary: 1 Stars

I bought these batteries twelve months ago. I have just binned them because they cannot hold a charge for more than a week, with no use. I bought them to use in a digital camera. They have been regularly charged in an Energizer brand charger, so incorrect charging is not the problem.

I was researching the issue to see if it was a problem with my new Canon camera but discovered a thread that shows there is a well-known issue with Energizer NiMh batteries. Fundamentally they are rubbish. OK for a few months then don't hold a charge. I have since bought Varta 'Ready-to-charge' NiMh batteries which are similar to Eneloops but cheaper and with a slightly higher capacity.

My recommendation: do not buy Energizer NiMh batteries. There are plenty of other choices.
