Customer Review: Worst headphones I have every owned

I received these headphones as a birthday gift from a distant relative. It was actually a decent gift idea - you can't go wrong by getting a teenager some nice-looking earbuds for their birthday; you never know when they'll need them. However, these earbuds are awful in practically every way, but there's no way you could tell by looking at them on the store shelf.
Unfortunately there is no image up for this product. They are in-ear earbuds with rubber tips so that you can squeeze them into your ear canal. This product does actually come with two other pairs of different-sized rubber covers. The rubber pads are rather thin so they are uncomfortable in your ear. If I had bigger ear canals I might have been able to stand them being in there, but at the moment it feels like somebody is trying to pry my head open. Even if these earbuds were comfortable to wear, they would still deserve a one star rating because of the sound quality.
The sound quality is horrible. Terrible. Atrocious. I'm not that much of an audiophile either. I am perfectly fine listening to my MP3 player with my old iPod headphones. Those old iPod headphones have probably 10 times better sound quality. My music is generally encoded in either 128 or 256kbps, but these headphones immediately make my music sound like I massively compressed it to something like 5kbps. My music is fuzzy and often times I can't even hear the vocals of the song because the earphones throw the sound completely off balance so that you only hear the instruments in the background.
Wow. I feel really bad for the person who gave me these headphones, because it was a great gift idea, but they had no way of knowing that they were buying me a pair of headphones that were completely unusable. Complete waste of money. Do not buy these under any circumstances. Those lame white iPod earbuds that everybody complains about run circles around this product.
