PROS: Cheap, compact, works great as adapter
CONS: Price doesn't inspire confidence about surge protection
It worked great in both the UK and Greece. Of course, it is only an adapter, i.e. it will not convert voltage. This tidy little unit is also advertised as a surge protector -- fortunately, no opportunity arose to test this out (I'm skeptical about its efficacy here, given its low, low price). Overall, a good purchase for the budget-minded, light-packing traveler.

Less than a buck? I thought this was a mistake so I had to buy some. The springy plugs require a little extra care in insertion but are managable. A little larger than the one I usually use but sturdy and with over-voltage protection. I blew out the lights in a small hotel once using a 110V surge protector in a 220V service so this would have been handy then. I saw almost the same unit at AAA for $20 - probably a later model as it has a USB output. Can't beat the price. Great value.Customer Review: Okay Item

I received this very promptly and it was just like the picture so no surprises. This came in handy for my 3 pronged plugs. Actually, I was having trouble with it not fitting tightly and hanging down from the receptacle so I purchased a local adapter from the gift shop for 8 Shekels (about 1.50 US) which worked much better so used them both together. I would recommend this product if you are not sure of what is there for you when you get to your destination. We used this in Israel.Customer Review: Prompt Delivery, Good Product

Well, it arrived today. I got the free super saver shipping, so I was a bit surprised that it got here so quickly-- only ordered it a few days ago.
Anyways, the product itself is good and sturdy, although the UK and US adaptors are a little annoying to work with (since they're spring-loaded, they don't really like to go into the power outlet), but that's fine since I only actually ordered it to use in France this Spring. Thus, the Europe adapter's all I really needed.

I bought two of these for a recent trip to Ireland (also used it in N. Ireland, and England). Am I ever glad. Often I would need to charge or use two things at once, so having two was a great benefit. It is lightweight and easy to use. I do agree with other reviewers that you sometimes have to jiggle it a bit in the socket to get the red (on) light to come on and stay on. Even considering that, this is a product I would buy again and not hesitate to recommend to my friends.
