Hey--I've seen essentially the same--even less functional--multi-plugs going for $25 or more in duty-free shops at airports or on board international flights. This thing is a STEAL. I have two of them. I travel frequently between Africa, Europe, and the USA, and commonly use British, American, and European plugsets. This one works with all of these, holds the plug snugly, and can pull a lot of watts besides. I've used mine at up to 1500 watts, no problems.
Just be aware--this is not a transformer, just a plug converter. You can piggy-back a transformer onto it (I have) if your equipment does not run on 110-240 v.

People who are giving these adapter plugs negative reviews obviously do not know how to use them. You need to utilize the locking mechanism or else the outlet won't fit into the socket snugly. However, if you use the lock, you won't have any trouble. I used several of these during a recent trip to London and Paris. France and the UK have different size outlets, and both converters on this adapter worked perfectly. Also, you won't find another good adapter at a lower price. I saw several other models at travel stores that are much, MUCH more expensive than these, and these work perfectly. Buy a few of them!Customer Review: Worked In England and France (March 2010)

We bought two in preparation for an upcoming trip to Europe. At first we didn't think they would get to us in time, but the speedy shipment had them at our door the day before we left saving us $20+ dollars by possibly having to go and grab one at a chain store. They worked great for the different outlets we ran into in England and France - charging our phones and camcorder with no problems. EXCELLENT Value overall, very pleased with the purchase price and shipping speed. It would have cost us more to "rent" one. If this thing had a soul and opposable thumbs, I would trust it to babysit a child.Customer Review: Works decent.

I only used this in The Netherlands (Europe outlets) and it worked great for charging my mobile phone's battery (only reason I got it).
Drawback is that the product felt flimsy. When I plugged my phone charger into it and plugged the product into the wall, it felt like my charger was going to fall out of it and the whole thing would fall out of the outlet. It stayed in there, thankfully.
I'd be carefully with the really big, heavy chargers with this or anything you plan to be moving around while it's plugged in.
For the price, this product is worth a shot.

For the first time I ordered an item through Amazon which is Universal Adapter. The product was reached the expected delivered date. The product was excellent. Initially I was surfing over other websites but I couldn't find the Universal Adapter that matches my requirement. I come across this product in Amazon and it was excellent which exceeds my expectation. I ordered immediately and it was delivered in 4 days. The product is also working fine. It as locking facility too.. Thanks a lot to Amazon and the seller of this product. I would rate 5 out of 5.
