Well, since the description of what I ordered was "EFORCITY Premium Brother LC51 Compatible Ink Set", I expected the brand to be "EFORCITY" and to find something that says "Premium" on the cartridges. Well, that was not the case.
I recieved some cartridges that has no brand and they have the word "Economy". Since I paid too little for this order, I said "what the heck, just put it in and try it".
First I found that those ink cartridge look different than the original ones but they still fit in my printer.
When I tried the demo page of my "MFC-685cw" printer, I was surprised by the quality of the document. It was better than the original ink. Also, the ink meter in my computer/printer shows that the cartridges are full. I was really happy with them.
Later, I printed some photos on photo paper, again, quality is more than excellent. There was a minor black shade in the pictures but it disappeared few days later. No biggy for me.
The two issues that I am not so happy with are:
- Photos took more than a week to fully dry and become resistent to slightly wet finger touch. Picture are excellent after they are fully dry.
- After printing hundreds of full colored pages and photos, the ink level still shows full tank. Well, this can't be true. I am sure that I at least used more than half the cartridge of each color. Those indicators are programmed to show full ink all the time. So, simply this ink is NOT COMPATIBLE with Brother Innobella feature as they claim in the product description. It just show a full tank
I still will give those cartriged 4 stars for the quality and the price. In case they jacked up prices like they did with other ones, then buy the originals instead.
