These ear plugs lower the volume and protect the ears without coloring the tone. Playing in a band is easier because it is possible to hear all the instruments more clearly without worrying about hearing damage from loud cymbal crashes or other sound spikes. There's not much to say here that hasn't already been said. I love concerts but due to some hearing loss it can be painful if the sound is too loud. These cut the volume on the sound without reducing the quality. I tried them out at a concert last week and it was perfect - you can't go wrong with these!Customer Review: Great earplugs!

This is the first time I've bought earplugs that are not of the foam variety.
I'm a drummer and it's important for me to keep my ears healthy. I find that these earplugs do a great job of keeping my ears safe while still allowing me to hear the tone of what my band is playing.

It is very comfortable and you can fit it as snugly as you like. The sound intensity reduction is not the maximum, but you can carry out a normal conversation with no problem. The quality of music you are hearing through these is fair in my opinion. For this price, it is very well worth it.Customer Review: Save your money, buy foam earplugs instead

I play guitar and sing in a rock/blues band. I was told I'm starting to have some hearing loss, so I tried these and have also tried foam plugs. I couldn't tell the difference between these and foam plugs. Everything is too muffled with either set. I'm looking at more expensive plugs.
