Customer Review: These Really Work.

I just recieved my pair of these ear plugs in the mail today. Let me recount my experience with them...
1) Place ear plugs in ears.
2) Crank up guitar amp - way up.
3) Wonder why my amp doesn't sound that loud.
4) Take one ear plug out.
5) Play a chord.
6) Almost explode - skull attempts to split in half.
7) Put ear plug back in.
Man these things are good. Just as advertised, these puppies just turn the volume down on the sound. Everything seemed clear, just not as loud.
If these things were a girl, I'd leave my wife for them and have a dozen children.

These are great for almost all applications. I'm a drummer and use them during band practice. Gave it a four star for two reasons: 1 - mainly cause there not the best against very high pitch loud sounds (i noticed sometimes when we got loud feedback that it still kind of hurt my ears) 2 - they stick out of your ears kinda far (really not that big of a deal). However, for a well performing product at this price this low, neither of those should be a big deal. Overall, great ear plugs. I can definitely hear other the other instruments in the band much clearer (not muffled like it was with other ear plugs).Customer Review: Wonderful Product

Experience:
I recently used these earplugs at a rave. Benny Benassi sounded as beautiful as he should with these plugs. There was an extreme amount of bass and these headphones brought it down to a level where you can actually hear the music clearly.
How They Fit:
If you have bigger ear canals I recommend these earplugs versus the smaller blue ones. The headphones fit very snugly in your ears. You have to cram them in deep, but that creates the suction.
Notice! If you are sweating a lot you might have problems with them falling out easily and they are fragile.

I have been meaning to write this: I bought these earbuds and found them thoroughly satisfactory; they fit well, excluded ambient noise and seemed to have very good sound. But the left one stopped working altogether before they were two years old. They had been treated very well; I couldn't blame my handling for the problem. I used them only when I was at a gym doing exercise that involved only my legs.
I have found no earbuds since those that are as comfortable and sound-isolating. But my experience with etymotic precludes my buying these again.

I play bass guitar for my church.
As a bassist,
I often have to stand near/close to the drummer.
The drummers that I play with play extremely loud
and most of the time,
without drum shields.
These "earplugs" works wonder in deflecting the sound volume
but minimizing the effects of distorting the sound quality.
On a personal basis,
I would definitely recommend this earplug.
