Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Dock Connector to USB 2.0 Cable for iPod and iPhone (White)Customer Review: A perfect and inexpensive solution Summary: 5 Stars
After almost a year, the cable that came with my iPhone 3GS began to pull apart where the wire meets the phone plug. This seemed like a good solution and since the price was right I ordered two. The package was shipped quickly and arrived today. These new cables are about two inches shorter than the Apple cable that came with my phone, but otherwise they are identical. Both charge the phone using the wall plug and the laptop USB, and they synced to iTunes immediately when I connected the phone to my laptop. At this price and quality, I would absolutely buy this product again.
Customer Review: You get what you pay for. Summary: 2 Stars
I'm one that is not afraid to pay for good quality things, but I decided to go ahead and give this company a try on a product which is sold sold by apple and felt was a little costly.
Although I saved a couple of bucks I didn't save on getting a great product. After a couple of weeks the cord began to have problems connecting with my iPod and my AC adaptor. After a couple more weeks I found myself having to wiggle and jiggle the cord in order for it to connect and then the cord just stop working completely. This is one that is definately NOT worth the money.
Customer Review: Generic USB ipod charger Summary: 5 Stars
Let keep this quick and simple. It works for the second generation ipod touch. It is a generic cable but there is no problems with it. The OEM has 2 buttons on the side that ejects the cable from the ipod. This one does not, but it also doesn't lock in. The original looks like there's two hooks that snaps into place when you plug the cable in. This one has more of a triangle shape versus a hook so you are able to disconnect the cord from the ipod without the eject buttons. This one also does not charge from a usb 1.0, 1.1 slot (not sure if the original cable did).
Customer Review: excellent. Summary: 5 Stars
Ok, I understand all the negative "doesn't work reviews"....It didn't initially work for me either....Solution: Google search ipod usb not working.....For one reason or another, some ipods don't immediately recognize the usb and the ipod needs to be reset. Just reset the ipod by holding the "menu button" and the "center button" for about 10 seconds. This resets your ipod and connects the usb. You don't lose any songs. The usb now works on both my laptops, my PC and in both of my cars.

Customer Review: Exactly as pictured, looks like oem Summary: 5 Stars
Let me start by saying that this cable is exactly as is pictured on Amazon! If you are looking for an iPod cable- buy this one.
There are several negative reviews on here that are false and I believe must be posted by competitors. I took a chance and ordered anyway and I'm really glad that I did because the cables arrived today and they are identical to the cable that came with my iPhone 4 in every way. They function perfectly.
Shame on those who post incorrect reviews and even go so far as to post false photos! I'm glad I didn't listen.
