I bought this after seeing it in the store and then reading reviews by others. It seemed like a good thing, but you really couldn't tell much by the packaging, so I wasn't too sure about it. Well, I am very satisfied with this jam jacket. It has a nice flexible rubbery grip to it, which keeps it from sliding out of your hand. The "bud management system" does a nice job of protecting the buds...plus you never have to worry about them getting misplaced. The only drawback I've noticed is that when you are using it on a flat surface with the buds stored -- i.e. not listening to it -- the unit sort of rocks back and forth with the buds acting like a pivot point, which kinda forces you to hold it with your other hand while you 'touch' your way around.Customer Review: Nice item with a cancerous tumor...

This little, simplified iPod Touch cover offers great protection as well as more "gripability" for your device. I feel that if I drop my iPod from a normal height it will be safer for having this cover on it. The rubber protection around the corners is great. You can feel a great amount of padding without adding much bulk to your slim iPod.
However, it is unfortunate that the earbud management system is attached to the back. Albeit it may be handy for earbud users, I frankly can't stand those things so I have my own, much larger, headphones. Therefore, the addition to the back of this iPod case is useless ... and I'm stuck with it. It's a shame it can't be removed somehow. I suppose a knife would do the trick...

If you have an ipod touch then BUY THIS CASE!!!!!!!!
This case went through hell at my house a few days ago. We just got a new puppy and she decided that my ipod looked like the perfect chew toy as it was on our coffee table (She's a standard lab and poodle cross). She got it, she chewed it and I was devastated until I removed the case and the surface shield. There wasn't a mark on it at all!!! The surface shield had to be tossed and the case was a little worse for wear but it did an absolutely great job! I highly recommend this product. I had no problems with installation and the only complaint I can even think of is that my headphones didn't fit the cord management thing exactly. The still fit just not perfectly.

If you work construction as I do this is the case for you. It really protects the player, with extra "padding" on the corners, and allows you to get a good grip on the player while using the controls. I don't find it too bulky for my shirt pocket, and the silicon material seems to prevent the player from sliding out of my pocket when bending over. I like the earphone storage, its a lot better option than winding the cord around the player. The plastic cover for the touch screen is a nice addition, helps keep muddy fingers off the screen itself, and you can buy replacement covers to replace the original when it gets scratched and pitted. All in all this is a great case at a great price. Highly recommend.Customer Review: Great Protection/Good Price!!!

After getting my Touch, I found I was hesitant to use it without protection (as one of the over 50 crowd, we worry about such things). After a GREAT deal of shopping on line and at retail stores, I bought this case on Amazon. Simply put, it's a terrific product! With some care, the screen sheild came out dust and bubble free after using the edge of a credit card to appy the shield. The case is wonderful to hold in your hand or place on the car dash because it's not slippery. I like the fact that the cord is neatly contained in my purse right with the Touch. I find the slight inconvenience of the docking problem well worth the piece of mind I get from knowing the device is so well protected.
