Some Updates for 2nd Generation iPhone.
a. Open slots for volume, charging port, and heaphone.
b. Inside sleeve for credit card.
c. Magnetic closing case works.
d. Soft leather feel with no smell.
e. Leather and stitching by the charging port and volume switch seems as if they will tear and unravel with normal use.
Update:
After 6 months it's pretty tattered and worn like on old soft leather wallet.
I had to glue the belt clip back in place.
Also, I failed to mention there's no opening for the light sensor to take advantage of the auto brightness feature.
It's basically an over priced boutique iPhone case. I never learn concerning electronic accessories. Just get a non brand cheap case. They usually put more quality into the product.. Or, for half the price you can use the savings to replace it later.

Other reviewers commented on the "gasoline" smell of the product, and while mine definitely had a strong smell when I opened the package, it dissipated quickly and now only has a faint leathery smell and only when I hold it right up to my nose. If you are very sensitive to smells, you may want to go into a store first and smell it in person.
As for form and function, it works well. The magnetic clasp is handy and the iPod is held snugly. Typing with two thumbs works well for me, even with my short hands, perhaps even better because I feel like I have a firm grip.
Because the case does not provide protection for the screen, definitely buy some screen protection film.
The belt clip is fine, although I wish it rotated so I could carry it horizontally on my hip. I'm not exactly slim and it digs into my side, so I carry it hooked onto my pocket, sitting in the pocket.

First of all, the video review above really sold me on the product, therefore I took a chance and purchased the Leather Folio case for my newly purchased iPod Touch. I WAS COMPLETELY PLEASED WITH WHAT I RECEIVED. Aside from keeping my iPod Touch perfectly safe and snug inside its pocket, its leather is incredibly soft and the case itself is easy to open and close. You can also flip the opening flap behind the iPod Touch for easier access to the device. The hidden pocket inside the case is also convenient when you're on the go, and don't want to bother bringing your purse/pocketbook/wallet/etc. You can slip ID's, credit cards, or a bit of cash, then clip the case to your side and head out the door. I had to give this product a high rating due to its sleek look and convenience. The DLO Hipcase is like a wallet for your IPod Touch. It offers no screen protector, but when closed does provide good protection for the touchscreen.
Overall, I call it an IPod wallet. Keeps my IPod safe with reasonable handling and protected as I carry it around. The headphone jack remains available to play music when you belt clip it, or carry in a shirt pocket. It will not survive more than reasonable light use not for runners or sports types, good for walkers . Overall I m very pleased with the purchase and do not plan looking for other cases or covers. Delivery was rapid, and the package was very secure to protect the product during delivery. I purchased this product in May 2010, and while I am completely satisfied with the product, as I will go onto describe, the vendor that was selling it through Amazon was selling it for over $25. Currently the product is
$12.82, so I am a bit unhappy about that and wasn't too thrilled at the thought of spending $30 for an iPod case.
However, the product itself is very nice. It allows me to use my iPod fully without impairing the use of any function in any way. It looks stylish and sleek, and the top is nice and cushioned. It's fun to flip open and closed repeatedly because of the magnetism.
After regular use for the last few months (and lots of flipping open and shut) it works well, and is still in great condition, so I have to say I'm very pleased with this product. It would have been 5 stars had I not paid 50% more than the current cost. :)
