Beautiful case, and works very well. When I first got it, the hole to access the port on the bottom was a little too small, and I had to remove the iPod from the case to recharge/sync it. I started pushing the recharger cable through the hole first, then slid the iPod down onto the charger for a few times until the leather stretched enough allow the cable to connect properly. It now fits perfectly.
I've had the case for a while now, and I've dropped the iPod a couple of times, and the case works...... no damage whatsoever to the iPod. The belt clip is very handy, I just wish it were removable, or they made one without the clip (I'd buy them both - there are times I want the clip, and sometimes it just gets in the way - nothing is perfect)
Great accessory. Looks professional, does a great job of protecting the iPod without making it too bulky, doesn't get in the way at all when using it once the leather "breaks in" a bit (at first, the area around the edge of the screen and the front button are somewhat difficult to get to, but after a little use, the leather form-fits to your iPod.
It flat-out works..... I'd buy one again without hesitation, but this one looks like it will outlast the iPod. Get one.....you won't be sorry.
....now, if they only made them in exotic leathers (Ostrich, Stingray, Snake skin, etc) :-)

Honestly, I haven't found a better case than this for the Ipods that we own. My son and I have tried several cases and this one is just "IT". It hits the mark on everything. It's got a nice padded inside to protect against scratching, plus it holds your ipod snuggly inside the case so that it will not slip out. Also, inside, you will find a nice little pocket to either hold your cleaning cloth, money, license, Credit Card...etc. There is a magnetic closure on the flap but when you open it, you have access to ALL the necessary buttons. There is absolutely no need for the plastic cover that goes over the front of the ipod at all, which I think makes a four hundred dollar item look cheap.
This case however, while cheap in price, (*I got two of them for $19.20 right here on Amazon), does not look, feel or come anywhere close to being cheap or cheaply made. Amazon is my main place for bargains and if I'm looking for something, you can bet I check daily. There is usually not one problem with Amazon. They always seem to deliver with style!
This case does not fall short on style at all, even at the above price. I felt that not one thing was over looked and the quality of the leather was supurb. SO if you are in the position that I was in, take my advice and don't by case after case...stop right here. You found it!

My husband and I own DLO cases for our 2nd gen iPod touches. Those cases look identicle to these and we love them. For that reason, I didn't hestitate to order them for the ipods that our kids will be getting for Christmas. We had purchased our previous ones at a major electronics chain, but these were $10-$15 cheaper and stated 2nd and 3rd gen compatible AND appeared the same, so I ordered them.
One of the major improvements of the 2nd and 3rd gen ipod touch is volume control on the ipod. This case doesn't allow access to it. The ipod fits, but you can't access all of the features. I'm left wondering if these are left over 1st gen cases that are being gotten rid of on Amazon. It makes me doubt what I'm buying here because its only a good deal if its what I intended to buy. I want the current model, not a previous one. When you state it's compatible with all models, I expect it to be, and compatibility doesn't just mean that I can physically stick it in the case, it also means that I can get to ALL of the buttons.
DLO makes a great flip case for the ipod touch, but this isn't it. Go to the store and buy the one with volume control access. It's definitely a 5 star product. The case is not what it claims to be and ours are being returned.

This case is very practical and functional, which is exactly what I was looking for. No bling or flash, just a simple and functional case. My only complaint about this product is that I didn't buy it sooner.
Pros:
+ Light-weight case which protects the entire iPod
+ Snug fit keeps The Precious from sliding about.
+ Simple clasp-less design for the face cover has fewer parts to break. (it uses magnets to stay shut)
+ Low-key appearance makes it look like any other PDA instead of screaming "Steal my overpriced iPod Touch"
+ Easy access to the power and main button.
+ Belt clip
Cons:
- The volume buttons on the side are covered up, but the case is thin enough that you can still push them with a bit of effort. Kind of annoying, but I rarely use them.
- The fitting the charging/docking cable through docking port on the bottom can be more difficult.
- Probably can't be used with most docking stations.
Overall, this case does exactly what I need without causing any major annoyances. The belt clip is really nice, but it isn't so strong that I trust it to actually wear my iPod. Instead I put the iPod inside my pocket and let the belt clip sit on the outside.

Bought this for the ipod touch 3g that I had purchased recently and I am quite satisfied with it. Paid around $21 w/shipping fr: Ace Photo Digital via amazon and I thought it was worth it. The one that I had received came with a hole for the light sensor (unlike the vid review that had the reviewer stating he needed to drill a hole). I admit that sometimes the edges of the case where it meets the screen for the ipod touch in the front does interfere a bit when you have things to click or drag (because it's not level or going to be flush with the screen), another thing would be that the volume control is obstructed (this in particular I really don't mind, since I use my earphones w/built in volume control) but ultimately to me, these things were not that big of a deal, only minor. I mainly bought this because you can clip in onto your belt, pocket, etc - that was a must for me in deciding to purchase a new case. Also, I was looking for a case with a pocket where you would be able to stash some cards and/or cash. This case was the only one I could find that fit those criteria. The case itself is lightweight and made of real (not faux) leather; it looks like it will provide adequate protection and the quality of the case is nice.
