First let me just say this case is awesome. the flap cover flips to go over your screen so you dont have to worry about your screen getting damaged, and it has a clip in the back so you can hook it to your belt or pocket as well. The ipod can slide in an out of the case fairly easy if you are like me an like to listen to music on a docking station too. My old ipod wouldnt fit on my docking station with the cover on, an it was hell getting it out, so this was a nice surprise for me to see how easy it can push out. BUT, at the same time, it fits snug enough in there that it wont slip out of the case by accident.
i read reviews complaining about the smell so i was kind of worried when i purchased it, but mine didn't have a strong smell at all so i guess i was lucky.

I've had this case for about 8 months now and it's solid. No signs of wear and more importantly fits snug around my iPod Touch. My son has a second generation iPod Touch which is noticeably thinner than my 1st gen but it fits snug in this case also. In fact, my son wanted to trade me for his Belkin case (specifically made for the 2nd gen Touch) because his slides around in the case when he's playing games.
If you use your Touch for more than just music, especially if your kids want to use for games and such, the DLO case is ideal. They simply flip the cover behind it and play until the battery dies out. Whereas with the Belkin case the iPod slides around so much that they take it out of the case to play games, thus loosing the protection of the case if it gets dropped.

It made my iPod 100 times better.
It matches my iPod very well. It's very casual. It has strong magnets inside it to keep the flip cover shut so it aint flopping open. It has a pocket on the inside of the flip cover for a wipe cloth or whatever it is you'd need, all the ports/jacks are completely accessible so there is no inconvenience, it has a clip on the back so can just clip it on your belt loop and go for when your going out for a run or whatever, the flip cover is padded so it has a nice feel to it, must I go on!? I must.. What I like to do is take the flip cover, and flip it behind the iPod to that it acts for a stand and I can just use it to hold the iPod up while I'm watching a movie on it, or using the calculator, or something.. This case really adds to the iPod.

I've used my [ASIN:B000WOIFO2 DLO HipCase Leather Folio Case for iPod touch(Black)]] for a year now and have been really pleased with its performance. It's held my iPod iTouch nice and tight, has a nice leather feel (good quality, real leather), and provides easy access to the ports without removing it from the case. It has a belt clip that I have not used. It's slim enough with the iTouch in it, I can still fit it in my shirt pocket, so I don't use the belt clip. The belt clip is nice and tight to the case, so if you decide not to use the clip, it's not sticking out and getting in the way. Yes, I wish I could remove the clip, but it's not been a problem. The case is showing no signs of wear even after a year of use - so this is good quality, and I highly recommended it.Customer Review: the best case on the market for my ipod touch 2ndG

I think this is the best case for the ipod touch on the market right now. It came in a standard sealed hard plastic package, nothing fancy but practical. It does not have any smell that other reviewers encountered. Initially, we had a problem with the flip cover too stiff to hold it down with the magnet. However, we just put it upside down on the table for a few day whenever it is possible, the problem solved. I have to give the 5 star for the company listening to the people. I read the last design has not have the side slit for volume control for 2ndG. The one we received has it right there. It is not the easier thing to maneuver the button, but it is there. The last thinking is I wish they have design without the back clip, so it is less bulky if I just put it in the pocket.
