Customer Review: Magnetic clasp

The construction, materials quality, and fit of this case are top-notch. I was impressed by how soft the leather is and by how plush the cover feels. I am however very concerned about the two magnets used to keep that cover closed. Though a magnetic clasp is a great idea for flash-based iPods, I don't think it has any place on a hard disk iPod like the Classic. The magnets are very strong and are placed right next to the Classic's hard drive (which is located behind the click-wheel). I removed the magnets from the case before using it. The two magnets are each glued between two layers of leather. I was able to remove them without cutting any stitching and without ruining the external appearance of the case.Customer Review: Fits Like a Glove!

I bought this for myself when my old plastic case was really getting crappy. It got here in time even with this nasty east coast snow. It fits my Ipod classic 120GB like a glove. I was worried that if I open to cover and turn it upside-down that it was easily side out but It didn't even move an inch.
The pocket clip for the case is nice and snug and won't move around to much. It does however feel like it fits better on the tiny coin pocket in my jeans the best. Overall it's the best case I have ever bought and I love the nice smelling leather. I would totally suggest this for anyone looking to get a new ipod or case. Protect your iPod Investment with this case!!!

I bought it for a 120 GB 6.5 generation classic iPod. It is leather, appealing, fits snuggly and will protect the iPod, the reason what I bought if for.
All controls and connectors are accessible. As it has a flip up cover, I prefer that the design is what it is and that the screen and wheel are not covered. The Apple standard dock connector works well with the iPod in the case, however, it does not fit on the dock of my clock radio. To use the iPod on the dock of the clock radio I have to take it out of the case.
As I carry it in my pocket I am not using the belt clip and thankfully the clip is small enough not to be an obstacle.

This case provides straight up high quality protection for my silver 6th Generation 120GB iPod Classic. I've used several iPod cases over the years. Some too snug or loose, some too thick, some not enough protection. Well, this case has none of those problems. It is easy to slide the iPod in and out, yet it stays put once inserted. The padding feels substantial without there being too much mass. The flip up magnetic cover can be operated with one hand. Access to the click wheel is slightly obstructed, but you can learn to use it within the opening (which could be slightly bigger diameter in my opinion). The case looks and feels like a top quality product.Customer Review: I love this

I really love this. I'm not a typical "ipod person" - I just recently bought my first ipod, a used ipod classic. I bought it used, and it already had some scratches on it, so I was looking for a way to protect it.
This case is perfect for what I wanted. I don't have any kind of a dock for the ipod, just a cable, and I can plug the cable in without removing it from the case. The case protects the ipod so I don't worry about just throwing it into my backpack.
This was exactly what I was looking for - it protects the ipod, I can use, charge, and sync the ipod without removing it from the case, and it was reasonably priced.
