Customer Review: Great case for my iPod Classic

Im really impressed by this case. There's not a lot to say about it other than that it does the job well, in a simple design. Things you should know:
There's a belt-clip permanently attached, so if you don't want one you won't want this case.
You can easily connect the sync cable through the case, and there's a hole in the top for your earphones.
There's no screen protector when the flip cover is open. This is okay with me, as I prefer to see the screen without anything obscuring it.
The only negative for me is that my iPod (the 160-gig model) seems to stick in the case a bit. This makes it secure, and you don't want your iPod slipping out. But, if you frequently want to remove the iPod from the case (I listen through a Klipsch iGroove at work) it can be a minor annoyance.
Overall, though, I'm quite satisfied.

with a 160 gb iPod this year. They do show up a bit bare and need protection asap. I ordered this little cover, it was at my home two days later. The iPod is a good tight fit, the screen is covered by a nice heavy padded flap. I even like the little clip on the side and hadn't realized how handy it would be until I had one.
I'd gotten a similar case for my iPod TOUCH and wasn't entirely happy with the way it showed wear from being plugged in. I'd done a little damage before I realized I always needed to take the TOUCH out of the case before charging or updating. This DLO HipCase seems to have a larger entry for recharging/updating although I do usually take it out before doing either.
All in all, I have no complaints with the product, the price, nor the company who sent it. If you have an iPod this is a great way to protect it.

I purchased this as a gift for an iPod I had also purchased as a gift and was excited to have found a professional-looking leather case that was (by description) going to fit the new, larger generation of iPod classic. However, when I received the product, the box was clearly marked to only fit up to the 80G video iPod -- not the 160G video iPod. Now, it does fit the 160G classic -- only not the video version, which is about the only 160G version on the market right now. As a result, I more or less feel as though I was taken advantage of by Amazon due to the product description not being entirely accurate. I would like to try to get a refund for this item, but the shipping and restocking costs make that option not viable. Just beware of what you are purchasing; it will not fit the 160G video (or 6th generation) iPod. Caveat emptor.Customer Review: The Best iPod Case!

Nice real leather case & lanyard! The padded cover is secured by a hidden magnetic tab at the bottom. The leather lanyard has a metal chrome clip that is also removable but no swivel. The belt clip swivels 360 and is removable spring loaded securing the clip to the case and that completely closes over the belt. The belt clip is plastic however it's never came loose from the case or me so maybe that's not a problem. The clip holder is metal chrome. It's hard to do gaming because the leather is so thick but you just slide it out. Music just pick your play list & set your levels flip it shut and you're off. Fully functional and it really looks great. I've been through about 10 or 12 cases in the past 8 years and this is by far the best one. If the iPod goes so goes this case it hangs by the door with my car keys.Customer Review: Outstanding Product

This hip case is well worth the money. My opinion it is the best deal I have come across in many years. This case is of high quality and appears to be very durable. The leather is thick so it will take a beating and last a long time. When I took it out of it's package I became very pleasantly surprised to find such a high quality it for a very reasonable price. Sometimes I wish I had more iPods so I could buy more of these cases. If you are looking for a TOP QUALITY case for your iPod this is the ONE you will want. Thick leather for outstanding protection with a belt clip that is as top quality as the case. The price is the best part, extremely reasonable and fair. I am telling everyone that has an iPod about this case in hopes they get one for themselves. OUTSTANDING PRODUCT THANKS
