Purchasing this USB cable was a fine idea. It works well and has not given me any problems whatsoever- no hassles nor confusing options. It's a very straightforward-to-use and practical device and I am wholly satisfied with it. My printer is located within two feet of my laptop on top of my desk, and this cord connects the two devices with extra cord length to spare (though not dangling/trailing out too much, which would have been a bother). It came in new in the mail, rolled up nicely and packed in a neat, clear, plastic bag. Quite frankly I have no complaints at all. This is a fine cord: reliable, works well, and classic in design.
